Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms govern use of the Northpack website and our done-for-you Google Business Profile (GBP) and local visibility services for Canadian trade businesses. By requesting an audit, booking a call, or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms. A separate written proposal or statement of work may add detail; if there is a conflict, the signed proposal controls for that engagement.

Services

Northpack provides GBP optimization and management, review system setup/support, citation cleanup, posting, and monthly reporting as described on our pricing page and in your plan. We do not primarily sell paid advertising. Results depend on competition, review velocity, your service area, and Google's systems — we do not guarantee specific rankings or lead volumes.

Plans, pricing, and payment

Published prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may change with notice for new engagements. Growth and Growth Plus plans include a 60-day starter period, then continue month-to-month unless cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Fees are due as invoiced. Late payments may pause work until the account is current.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information
• Grant appropriate Google Business Profile Manager access via invitation and keep ownership
• Respond promptly to review/approval requests when needed
• Ensure review requests comply with Google's policies and applicable law
• Not ask us to post false reviews or manipulate ratings

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your brand assets, listing, and content you provide. We retain ownership of our processes, templates, and materials unless otherwise agreed. You may use deliverables created for your business during and after the engagement.

Confidentiality

Both parties will keep non-public business information confidential except as needed to perform the service or as required by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northpack's total liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost leads, even if advised of the possibility.

Termination

Either party may terminate after the starter period with 30 days' written notice, or sooner for material breach that is not cured within a reasonable time. Upon termination, we will remove our access to your GBP when you request it. Prepaid unused months are generally non-refundable unless required by law or agreed in writing.

Website use

Do not misuse the site (e.g. scraping, injecting malware, or submitting fraudulent inquiries). Content on the site is for information; it is not legal, tax, or professional advice beyond our described marketing services.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer or small-claims rules require otherwise.
